Heroic Races FAQ
What does "Task" mean?
The "Task" is the action you need to perform to obtain the item represented by an icon in the mission. There are missions of various types that involve dragon crossing, dragon hatching, battles and many other tasks.
What does "Items" mean?
"Items" is the number of items that needed to be collected to finish that mission in question, pay attention to "Maximum", "Wait for item", "Wait for all" and "Collect chance" to know if you can still collect more items of the same.
What does "Maximum" mean?
In Heroic Race guide, "Maximum" refers to the maximum number of items available to collect at the start of the mission. The limit always starts out full, and new items fill the space as you use up the existing limit items.
What does "Wait for item" mean?
The "Wait for items" or "Wait Time" is the amount of time required for a new item to be added to the limit. This is relevant when the limit is not large enough to complete the mission in one go. Limit starts regenerating new items after collecting the first item, but remember that it will reset the cooldown every time you collect an item. Therefore, it is important to wait until the limit or "Maximum" is completely empty before starting to count the waiting time.
What is "Wait for all"?
It is the waiting time added considering the number of "Maximum" items and the individual waiting time.
What does "Collect chance" mean?
The "Collect chance" is the percentage that defines the difficulty of collecting the specific item when you perform the "Task" action, the higher the "Collect chance" the easier it is for you to collect the item in question, likewise, if If it is smaller, it will be more difficult.
Heroic Races Tips
Collecting Gold
The most efficient way to collect gold for Hero Race tasks is to increase the number of habitats. Every time you collect gold there is a chance to find an item. Additionally, having habitats full of gold increases your chances of obtaining more valuable items. This is indicated when the gold icon is no longer transparent. Collecting gold is one of the simplest tasks in Hero Race, and the more habitats you have, the more opportunities you have to find items when collecting gold.
Another strategy is to quickly increase the amount of gold collected by powering up your dragons. Save power-ups for tasks that require you to power up dragons, but prioritize those that generate the most gold per minute. Keep in mind that once dragons surpass level 10, the amount of gold produced increases. Therefore, rarer dragons typically pay more gold per minute.
It is also possible to focus on Earth's habitats, which fill most quickly with gold. However, keep in mind that this strategy is not always the best, as it may not be advantageous when the Hero Race comes to an end.
Collecting Food
The best way to gather food is to repeatedly buy the cheapest option at every farm. With each food collection, there is a chance to obtain a valuable item. Opt for the 50 gold option at each food farm and collect quickly! The more food you collect, the more likely you are to find valuable items. However, larger foods take longer to grow and be claimed. Therefore, it is recommended to always use the 50 gold option called "Backyard Garderner". Collecting food more frequently increases your chances of obtaining valuable items from collecting food.
If you want to grow large quantities of food, consider purchasing the more expensive food option, which takes 9, 12, or 24 hours to grow. In the meantime, you can use other farms to alternate collecting the 50 gold food.
Breeding Dragons
Keep in mind that you may need to make numerous attempts to obtain each item. The alternative is to take the slower route, using combinations with longer races to guarantee an item. However, be aware that other players may overtake you during this process. Try to unlock the 3 available crafting areas to increase your chances of obtaining valuable items in the Heroic Race.
Hatching Dragons
The best way to hatch dragons during the Hero Race is to use the Earth + Earth combination you created previously. Again, this approach may require several tries and failures, but it is the quickest way to obtain several valuable items. For each item, expect to hatch eggs 30 to 40 times. This requires many tries. If you prefer a slower method, you can use other eggs with longer hatch times to secure an item, but keep in mind that other players can advance faster this way. Try to unlock the 3 available breeding areas and the upgraded hatchery (with capacity for 6 eggs) when they become available.
If you manage to unlock all the breeding buildings and all the hatchery slots, place them next to each other (this will be close to the second island due to the breeding sanctuary).
Feeding Dragons
The best way to feed dragons for Hero Race tasks is to use the Terra dragons you raised in previous missions. If you haven't used this tactic, another option is to feed the dragons that are at lower levels, as they require less food. However, this approach relies more on luck to obtain valuable items. Feeding level 1 to 6 dragons is an efficient option as it requires little food and can yield 5 to 6 items.
An additional strategy is to keep all newly acquired level 1 dragons out of Heroic Races and only activate them when the Heroic Race is active. This is a great way to complete the task of feeding dragons more efficiently, as these dragons need to be activated anyway.
Battling in the Race
The best way to fight dragons in Hero Race is to set a timer to remind you of the next battle. Use the information above to determine which battle will take the longest. A popular tactic is to use the free spin when you have the longest battle ahead of you. By using free rotation in this way, you automatically complete at least one task, saving time and increasing your efficiency at the event.
Battling in the Colosseum
It is important to note that this type of mission no longer appears in new races, but here are tips if it appears again one day:
Temporary battle missions are less common in the early stages of the Hero Race. However, completing them is highly recommended as they offer good rewards such as food, dragon orbs or collectibles. Additionally, completing these quests is a great way to level up your dragons.
To optimize the process, always make sure there are no temporary missions on cooldown during the Hero Race. Otherwise, you will be left waiting until the mission is available to fight again.
Battling in the Leagues
To complete the PVP League battles in the Hero Race, it is essential to have fully charged dragons with full charges to face the League. Some League battles can be challenging as other players may have high-level heroic dragons. It is possible to reset your League battles to face new opponents, but be aware that this will not update your loadouts, it will only allow new matches. If you want to make the task a little easier, try unlocking the 6th Dragon Tower (Winstance - 20% + Life and Damage), which can make combat easier. Make sure you only complete the required number of League battles and don't overdo it as it may slow you down if you have to wait for the League counter to recharge.
